Fuelled By Cider

August 06, 2017

WOW! What more can be said about the reception we received at Outcider festival? We debuted on the Fuelled by Cider circuit at their last big fest of the year; Outcider, based at a farm in Shepton Mallet. We honestly didn't expect the reception we got and are utterly humbled to see a barn FULL of the South West's very finest cider drinkers erupt into a frenzy of some of the best moves we've ever seen.

We are truly grateful to the Fuelled By Cider team to have graciously invited Cuba Libre to join the circuit going forward "after kicking ass at Outcider". We can't wait to get more involved in this incredible events circuit and are totally psyched for next year, but first; The Ropemakers in Bridport.

Jurassic Fields

July 16, 2017

We had a belter of a day at Jurassic Fields alongside some amazing bands. We took our own families for a lovely day of sunshine and music in the middle of Bridport and got a chance to sample a full selection of talent from the South West. We had the pleasure of playing the same stage as the mighty Laid Blak and as the day closed the whole crew enjoyed a bop and a skank to the Neville Staple band who headlined the Festival. A highly recommended day out for all the family, hopefully we will see you all there next year.

Home Farm Festival - Yeovil

June 27, 2017

This year we were invited to play at Home Farm Festival in Yeovil for the first time. We are exceptionally proud to have been asked to be part of this event which is all in aid of the School in a Bag charity. School in a Bag orchestrate events throughout the year to raise money to help provide school supplies for some of the less advantaged children in the UK. It was an absolute pleasure to head line the main Stage on the Sunday and sign the prize bag for our stage. We are extremely proud to have helped contribute towards the staggering £72,000 raised over the festival weekend and hope to be able to take part in the festivities again next year

Gimme Shelter 2017

June 10, 2017

We are very grateful to the Wyke Smugglers for accommodating us and our fellow musicians at the Gimme Shelter festival, and to Paul Sharrod (from the Surfin Birds) for inviting us to headline the event.

As always, it is a pleasure to be involved in charitable events that give back to our local community and equally as awesome to get a chance to enjoy all the other talent that is around Weymouth, Portland and Dorset. We are pleased to share that the Gimme Shelter event raised over £1800 to help the homeless in the local area. This was a brilliantly put together mini festival and we look forward to seeing it come around again next year. We are especially grateful that everyone stayed on for us at the end of the night and that you all partied your little socks off. It is humbling indeed.
